L.A. Comic Con is ready to rock your world this October 4-6, 2024, and trust us, they’re leaving no stone unturned! With a lineup so packed, you'll wonder if you’ve accidentally walked into a Hollywood blockbuster. Expect legendary creators, actors, gamers, and artists—this year’s con is about to make history, folks!
Not Your Average Comic Con
The event promises over 300 panels, hundreds of exhibits, gaming activations, and surprise guests that will make your inner nerd scream with joy. According to Chris DeMoulin, CEO of L.A. Comic Con's parent company CEI, the goal is simple: to create the most diverse, eclectic show where fans rediscover why they love this universe of pop culture in the first place.
From a reunion panel featuring "The Addams Family" cast (yes, Anjelica Huston will be there!) to multiple "Star Wars" panels with icons like Ewan McGregor and Rosario Dawson, this con is set to light up the L.A. Convention Center(

). And did we mention gaming? The West Hall will host epic activations, including the MILK Cup LAN Fortnite Championship, featuring 99 of the best female gamers battling it out for a whopping $250,000, the largest women's eSports prize pool in North American history!
It’s All About the Fans
L.A. Comic Con isn’t just your regular pop culture event. DeMoulin emphasizes that it’s by the fans, for the fans. This year's lineup is packed with requested guests from fan surveys, like Hayden Christensen and Giancarlo Esposito. Esposito, who we all know from "Breaking Bad" and "The Mandalorian," gives props to the fans for landing him roles like his upcoming appearance in “Captain America: Brave New World.” According to him, "The world has changed in film and television, and I think people are listening to the fans. Fans are loyal”.
Why This Year Is Going to Be Lit
This con is different from other big names like San Diego Comic-Con and Anime Expo. Sure, they’re cool, but L.A. Comic Con has a unique L.A.-ness to it. It’s not just about the stars who work in Hollywood; it's also about the stars who live here. The proximity gives the event an edge that others can't match. Some celebrities like Anjelica Huston are even stepping out of their comfort zone to join the fun, just because, well, they live in L.A. and why not?
What to Expect – It’s Gonna Be Wild!
Besides meeting all your favorite stars, the convention will offer a wide range of activities to explore. With almost 900 exhibitors and artists, the Artists' Alley section is ready to showcase the newest, coolest creations. Oh, and the main stage is smack in the middle of the showroom floor, so you’ll be right there in the action! The con is evolving too, bringing more video game creators and a variety of anime and manga-centered entertainment. Expect the unexpected as they continue to expand while staying true to their “inner nerd.”
