From June 19–21, 2025, VidCon Anaheim will once again transform the Anaheim Convention Center into the epicenter of internet culture. But this year is different—YouTube’s 20th anniversary and the launch of the very first VidCon Hall of Fame promise to make this edition truly unforgettable.

VidCon’s First-Ever Hall of Fame: Honoring Digital Royalty
In a historic move, VidCon will introduce its inaugural Hall of Fame, celebrating pioneers who’ve shaped online video as we know it. The first class of inductees reads like a who's who of digital media icons:
Rhett & Link – Creators of the legendary “Good Mythical Morning”
Ian Hecox & Anthony Padilla – Co-founders of Smosh
Grace Helbig, Tyler Oakley, Joey Graceffa, Rosanna Pansino
And Hank Green, co-founder of VidCon itself
These creators will be honored during a special Opening Night ceremony on Thursday, June 19. Each inductee will receive a custom Hall of Fame jersey, cap, and award, which will be displayed in the Expo Hall for fans to view and snap photos with throughout the weekend.
“We once sang a song at VidCon about every creator’s worst fear: fading into irrelevance,” Rhett & Link joked. “Yet here we are, two decades later, with gray hair and a Hall of Fame plaque. We’re honored.”
YouTube Turns 20: The Ultimate Creator Party
This year also marks a major milestone—YouTube’s 20th birthday. As the long-standing title sponsor of VidCon Anaheim, YouTube will return in 2025 with one of its most immersive programming schedules to date:
A creator-themed game show
A live Roblox Hunt experience
An outdoor activation next to the convention center
And a keynote from Kevin Alocca (Head of Culture & Trends) and Amjad Hanif (VP of Creator Products), reflecting on two decades of evolution on the world’s largest video platform.
"YouTube is home to the most creative and authentic content in the world," said VP of Marketing Kate Stanford. "There’s no better place to celebrate our creators than at VidCon Anaheim."
An All-Star Creator Lineup Across Generations
From legacy icons to breakout stars, VidCon 2025’s featured creators span every era of online video:
Smosh, LaurDIY, Hank Green
Dream, Aphmau, KREW, Like Nastya, Steven He, Merrick Hanna
And TikTok and Shorts stars like Justin Flom, Kika Kim, and Leo Gonzalez
Fans can expect exclusive panels, meet-and-greets, live performances, and more across three themed tracks: Community, Creator, and Industry.
How to Attend
Tickets are now available at VidCon’s official website, starting at $160. Options include multi-day passes for fans, aspiring creators, and industry professionals. Special discounts may apply during seasonal promotions.
New Ownership, Same Mission
Another big change: VidCon now has a new home. In September 2024, Informa, a UK-based event company known for Comic Con Toronto and Fan Expo events, acquired VidCon from Paramount Global. The 2025 edition marks the first time VidCon Anaheim will be run under its new ownership.
In Summary
VidCon 2025 isn’t just a convention—it’s a celebration of legacy, community, and the unstoppable evolution of online video.
Whether you're a die-hard fan, a seasoned creator, or just YouTube-curious, this is one show you won’t want to miss.
This summer, come witness digital history in the making.
